Common questions
- Is this actually personalized, or just a template?
- Actually personalized. We start with the photo you upload and generate an original illustration in your chosen style — watercolor, painterly, vintage, modern, and more. No template, no name-swap.
- What do you write in a wedding card to a friend?
- The friend wedding card that lands best is the one only YOU could write. The memory only you remember. The conversation only you had. The moment you knew. Skip the generic 'wishing you a lifetime of love' — write the line they're going to read on their fifth anniversary and remember. Stuck? Tap AI Message.
- Can I include cash or a check inside the card?
- Yes. The envelope is a standard greeting-card size and easily holds a check or cash gift. Some senders also include a printed gift receipt or a note about a registry purchase. We don't include any gift handling — you tuck whatever you want inside before sealing.
- Can I schedule it to arrive before the wedding, on the wedding day, or after?
- All three. At checkout, pick the arrival date. Many senders send a card to arrive the week BEFORE the wedding (so it lands while they're still calm) or the week AFTER (so it lands when most other cards have stopped coming). Day-of works too if you'd rather hand it over at the reception — though most couples won't read it until later.
- Can I mail it to the wedding venue?
- Yes — but most venues prefer cards go to the couple's home address instead, since wedding-day mail handling at venues is usually chaotic. If you're set on the venue, contact the venue's events coordinator first.
- What's the QR code on the card?
- Record a 15-second voice or video message. We print a QR code on the inside of the card. When the couple scans it with their phone, your message plays. For wedding cards specifically, this is the part that gets saved — voice memories from a wedding card are something couples re-watch on anniversaries.
- How much does a card cost?
- $19.99/year subscription, then $1.78 per card sent — everything included (custom illustration, envelope, stamp, USPS mailing). A premium retail wedding card runs roughly $6-12 all-in. Your first card is free.
- Can I send the card without subscribing?
- Yes — your first card is free, no subscription required. After that, the $19.99/year membership unlocks unlimited sends at $1.78 each.
